Drawing inspiration from classic Bermudian architecture and South Florida’s lush, tropical landscape, V Starr created an oasis for relaxation and wellness within the clubhouse and outdoor amenity spaces at Town Village Walk, a resort-style multifamily residential community located in historic Fort Myers. For its design of the 10,000-square-foot luxury clubhouse, pool deck, and accompanying pool pavilion, V Starr embraced natural textures, playful details, and bold verdant patterns.
Led by Design Director Holly Nixon and Senior Designer Bobbie Olson, the team at V Starr united Florida- and Bermuda-influenced aesthetics by focusing on materiality, incorporating rich wood accents, woven textures, and tropical inspired patterns to complement the property’s bright white and pastel facades, which carry through to the interiors and are reminiscent of the island’s distinctive hillside cottages.
In the main clubhouse, a custom wallcovering featuring overscale palms brings brisk and breezy energy to the leasing office, while linen draperies and seagrass-swathed ceilings lend an air of casual island elegance to the lounge, kitchen, and dining areas. Each light fixture was custom designed for the space, from the large sea glass chandelier in the clubhouse entryway, to the gilded palm floor lamps that add a whimsically luxe touch to the onsite movie theatre.
