V Starr designed the interior and exterior common areas at Modera Metro II Dadeland in Miami’s namesake neighborhood, with a high rise multifamily building that is both dynamic and inviting. In consideration of the Dadeland area, which is modernizing rapidly as a destination for young business savvy individuals, the firm reflected contemporary interests with geometric touches and bold pops of color while maintaining a warm and inviting sense of home. The upscale spaces marry a fresh summer palette that is quintessential Miami with angular details that lead residents through the vast amenity spaces.
The open plan layout of the building, with pockets of defined areas, allows residents and guests to find sanctuary as well as feel connected with a larger group. In the lobby, statement pieces include custom chairs with illustrations by artist Danny O’Connor, whose sense of color and movement is reflected in the use of strong diagonals in the corridors wall paneling, along with his other pieces that complement the vibrant lighting fixtures and furnishings in the game room.
