Sivak & Partners has revealed its new guest suite concept, intended for a boutique beach hotel in the port city Odessa, Ukraine.
The space is inspired by the dazzling settings of 1980s James Bond films, featuring curved, full-height windows with views out to sea.
Each room is designed to foster a sense of “tactile contrast” through hard stones and contrasting soft materials.
“The idea of the materials is that in this digital era, when work means sitting on the PC and answering emails for two to thee hours, I want to see and feel something natural,” says Alexey Gulesha, chief designer at Sivak & Partners.
A highlight of the space is the in-ground bathtub that appears to rise up out of the stone floors and intends to remind guests of bathing in hot springs.
