The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville opened yesterday in the heart of downtown’s SoBro district—just steps from Music City Center and the Nashville Symphony. Designed by Arquitectonica, the 297-room hotel is inspired by the cultural and artistic discovery, history, design, and the city’s Southern hospitality.
Upon entrance, guests are greeted by a custom-designed reception desk with leather paneling by Lucchese, ceramic art by artist Brie Ruais, and paintings by artist Jackie Saccoccio. Original works and thought-provoking art pieces from local, regional, and international arts can be found throughout the hotel and in guestrooms.
A cornerstone of the property is the option for guests to connect with iconic tastemakers through private, signature experiences unique to the Joseph. Guests can participate in bespoke boot designing sessions with premier leathery Lucchese in their VIP design studio; a curated shopping excursion at the store of acclaimed Southern designer Billy Reid; and a behind-the-scenes culinary immersion with the hotel’s food and beverage partner, James Beard Award winner and Michelin-starred chef Tony Mantuano.
The culinary program, helmed by Mantuano, includes signature restaurant Yolan, showcasing inventive and refined Italian. Denim, an all-day, indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge is centered around a tranquil outdoor pool and offers sweeping views of the city skyline.
