RIU Hotels & Resorts and Tikida Group have reopened the Riu Tikida Garden hotel in Marrakesh, Morocco, following a complete refurbishment. It also completes the reopening of all the brand’s hotels in the country.
The refurbishment of the 259-room hotel encompassed the communal areas and rooms, including the creation of 10 swim-up rooms. The rooms have ceramic flooring with light and warm colors evoking Saharan tones, as well as typical Moroccan decorative elements. All of the communal areas are lit with natural light that enters through the large windows located around the hotel’s various spaces, making the hotel seem more spacious. This feature is particularly prominent in the lobby due to its height. Several elements have colored ceramic details or finishes, as well as columns and walls, creating a sophisticated and fresh atmosphere.
