This is the newest venture from award-winning portraiture, still life, and landscape photographer Robert Malmberg, who has been capturing his adventures in his studio and abroad via limited-edition photography prints for over 15 years. Realizing the ability for his graphic photos to have a larger impact on interior spaces, he began creating large scale imaginative patterns. The introductory collection is full of motifs Malmberg photographed. Then, he superimposed and layered them into graphic patterns; finally, digitally printing them onto non-woven, eco-friendly, vellum paper. The 11 piece, 30 colorway collection includes a variety of images from flora and fauna: the likes of Rorschach butterflies, cicadas and roses, to images of ancient Roman artifacts and Malmberg’s own abstract patterns made from shapes produced by paint. Each design is $89 a yard.
