KINLEY CHATTANOOGA SOUTHSIDE (STREETSENSE, BETHESDA, MARYLAND)
KINLEY CINCINNATI (STREETSENSE, BETHESDA, MARYLAND)
What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned and why was that so impactful?
No one person can know everything or be an expert in everything. It’s important to create a diverse team in terms of demographics and knowledge. I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with a variety of brilliant designers, and I owe a great deal of my knowledge and success to those interactions.
What are you doing to make your designs more proactive in supporting economic, cultural and social growth in the communities around them?
We are working to introduce unique and creative brands and designs in secondary and tertiary markets across the U.S. By focusing on emerging neighborhoods in these smaller markets, we aim to foster additional economic growth. Community engagement through the design and development process is also a big focus for Vision. There is clientele searching for “big city” vibes in many small and mid-sized cities.

WATERCRESS, KINLEY CINCINNATI (STREETSENSE, BETHESDA, MARYLAND)
What’s the next hot trend or next new kind of project you’re working on (or hope to work on) and what will the challenges/opportunities be?
Bespoke travel. Offering guests a customizable experience will be an important differentiator as supply increases.
What would you be doing if you weren’t an interior designer?
What’s the best advice you ever received?
“Trust your gut.” It’s now my leadership philosophy and advice I pass along to my team.
