JW NOLA RE-OPENS POST-REFRESH
Hotel closed for six months during renovation
Interior design firm Looney & Associates led the design for the multimillion dollar renovation of the JW Marriott New Orleans’ 494 guestrooms, seven suites and public spaces.
The new design at the hotel, which closed for six months during the renovation, embraces the culture of the city to embody a contemporary feel with calming colors. Classic white marble tiles harmonize with the soft white and warm gray hues throughout the guestrooms. Furniture is clad in rich textiles and finished off with polished metal to complement the antique mirrors in the rooms. Artwork throughout the hotel pays homage to iconic elements of New Orleans, such as Mardi Gras crowns and maps of the Bayou.
The hotel also includes a fitness center, an outdoor saltwater pool and over 25,700 sq. ft. of meeting and event venues, with new space recently added to the eighth floor.
