Hotel ELEO at the University of Florida, a 173-room boutique hotel, will open this summer in Gainesville, Florida on the school’s campus. Operated by Pyramid Hotel Group, the property will feature an upscale restaurant, meeting and event space, and a fitness studio. The hotel was designed by Alfonso Architects, led by University of Florida alumnus Alberto Alfonso.
Rising six stories tall, the building’s architecture will feature a combination of glass, steel, and concrete. Guestrooms are styled with custom furnishings from Italy, blending comfort and elegance. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame work desks with natural light.
Executive Chef Charlie Keller will lead Covey Kitchen + Cocktails, which opens in September and features an indoor dining space with floor-to-ceiling windows, a bar, a private dining alcove, and an outdoor terrace overlooking Rush Lake. F&B options also include a deli-style Gather + Go market.
