Travelers might be looking to boutique properties such as inns and bed and breakfasts to jumpstart their vacations once it’s safe to travel again, according to a survey of registered bnbfinder.com travelers.
The survey revealed that more than 83 percent of respondents plan to travel again as soon as it’s deemed safe. In addition, nearly 70 percent of respondents rank B&Bs as their preferred lodging as soon as they can vacation again, beating out hotels, vacation rentals, and campgrounds.
Once travel can resume, bnbfinder notes that inns and B&Bs will be operating in a new era, offering touchless check-in and check-out over the phone and breakfast in bed at no additional charge, plus upping cleanliness measures, and offering private dining options.
