The Opus, Westchester, an Autograph Collection hotel, managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is set to open its doors this month in White Plains, New York. New York-based Celano Design Studio will bring a luxe residential flair, capturing the calm of an inviting sanctuary retreat with a city soul and rich urban experience infused throughout the property.
The lobby and lounge area will feature walnut wood paneled columns, balanced with modern accents such as lush green walls, bold artwork, and contemporary art and fashion books. The furniture will feature an eclectic mix of tones, textures, and materials including stone-top tables and upholstered and metal framed pieces, walnut wood, polished chrome, and white Carrara stone, with a color scheme of warm deep amber tones contrasted by cool blues with hints of brass and gold. The centerpiece of the lobby will be a gold-leafed crystal chandelier, creating a glow throughout the lobby while making the open space feel intimate and grounded.
The hotel’s lobby bar will be infused with a vibrant, eclectic punch. The social, open space will feature elevated details with stylish décor, starting with the walnut-coffered ceiling with metallic accents and modern light pendants, contrasted with an abstract, colorful carpet design. The collection of bar stools with animal prints and bright textures, along with deep green velvet button tufted banquettes, stone tables, and mod leather lounge chairs, add a fun and whimsical touch.
