Hospitality designer Yuna Megre, founder of Megre Interiors, has been tasked with designing and bringing new life to the Historic Trinity hotel and auditorium.
The 100-year-old historical Trinity hotel and auditorium has been known as a church, university, Embassy Hotel, and Trinity Auditorium. The Trinity is in the process of becoming a newly designed and renovated hotel and rooftop bar. The new design concept by Megre and her team will feature 180 hotel rooms, lobby, restaurant, auditorium, and a new addition of a rooftop pool, cabana, and poolside bar.
“What makes this project unique and interesting is the auditorium. The theater inside is one of the oldest in LA. It will stay a theater and event space, but we plan to give it a gentle restoration and bring it into the 21st century. We want to make sure that it can live on another 100 years without altering or changing the already established architecture too much,” says Megre.
