Boutique hotel company Lark Hotels has launched mountain-base camp Tälta Lodge, located in Stowe, Vermont, along the bank of the Little River. The 51-room hotel is located near the historic downtown village of Stowe and is the third property to join the ranks of the Bluebird Hotels portfolio.
Staying true to the inspiration behind Bluebird Hotels—the great open road—the contemporary property is designed as a sanctuary for travelers who respect their wild spaces and seek to share in the adventure and experiences that Stowe visitors have enjoyed for two centuries. Bluebird Tälta Lodge arrives as a contemporary take on the original 1960s mountain lodges, featuring 49 rooms and three suites. Revamped with plush beds, present-day interiors, and mountain-style furnishings, rooms evoke nostalgic feelings of family jaunts with a modern update. All rooms are designed with the roaming spirit top of mind.
Bluebird Tälta Lodge will be followed by a slew of openings next year, including Bluebird Dennis Port in Cape Cod, Massachusetts; Bluebird Sunapee in Newbury, New Hampshire; and Bluebird Hunter in Hunter, New York, a much anticipated alpine-inspired contemporary ski lodge in the Catskills, less than three hours from New York City. Several additional hotels are under agreement and are planned in both coastal and mountain destinations.
