LCRA Parks are comprised of more than 11,000 acres of parks along the lower Colorado River in the Lone Star State, from the Texas Hill Country to the Gulf Coast. Spacious safari tents with custom furnishings and wood decks at LCRA’s Lake Bastrop North Shore Park are the latest glamping option for campers.
The seven new safari tents, as well as an even more spacious single large cabin (which features a private restroom with shower, hot tub, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen), are all part of a new partnership between LCRA Parks and GLAT USA, a company that specializes in delivering unique camping experiences. Scattered beneath the canopy of towering pine trees with scenic views of Lake Bastrop, the new safari tents at LCRA’s Lake Bastrop North Shore Park provide another way to enjoy the variety of offerings at LCRA parks in central Texas.
In addition to the safari tents, Lake Bastrop North Shore Park also has several 25-foot Flying Cloud Airstreams, with individual patios featuring a gas grill, fire pits, and Adirondack chairs, as well as campsites with RV hookups.
