The Maker Hotel—an intimate 11-room boutique hotel set within three historic structures—is set to open in three days, on August 6th. Conceived as a “bohemian sanctuary”, the 14,000 square foot hotel features nods to 19th-century industrial, Belle Époque, Art Deco, and midcentury legacies.
Created by the co-founders of global beauty brand Fresh, Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg, and hospitality expert Damien Janowicz, The Maker Hotel features work of local Hudson valley craftsman, global artisans, and one-of-a-kind vintage pieces and an extensive art collection.
Composed of a carriage house, Georgian mansion, and Greek Revival structure, the layout preserves and celebrates the existing architecture. Key design elements include ornate fireplaces, original wood elements, decorative stain glass, foyer mosaic tiles, and handpainted ceilings.
