InterContinental Hotels Group is set to welcome the Hotel Indigo Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk in Indonesia’s capital. Partnering with IHG on the project are PT Kapuk Naga Indah, land and building owner and a subsidiary of property developer Agung Sedayu Group, and Salim Group. The signing marks the beginning of an IHG strategic partnership with Agung Sedayu Group as one of its preferred partners for hotel projects in Indonesia.
Located within an exclusive development on Golf Island PIK or Kawasan Pantai Maju, the new 200-room hotel will sit within a newly remixed neighborhood, purpose-built for Jakarta’s work-play-travel lifestyle. PIK development spans the coastal districts of North Jakarta and houses luxury homes, modern offices, education institutions, and facilities including a golf and country club, waterpark, a luxury mall, and hotels.
Opening in 2022, the hotel will blend Jakarta’s many cultural influences with modern Zen-inspired architecture and design. The interiors will reflect the inspiration of the hotel’s neighborhood, balancing a mix of Indonesian tradition and contemporary details.
