Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero is now open. The hotel’s 155 rooms and suites, all located on the top 11 floors of its 48-story building, have been designed by design firm Marzipan with flexibility in mind.
The design team was inspired by the views across the city and beyond. The palette is bright and crisp, with splashes of color punctuating bespoke furnishings and carefully chosen textures such as the custom-designed, hand-tufted wool rugs. Threads of gold are woven through the wallcoverings that harken back to the city’s gold rush history.
Most floors feature a Sky Bridge with floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides. An “Eye Spy from the Sky” feature is housed on the 48th floor, which is the hotel’s take on the classic “I Spy” game and added during the renovations.
In 2021, Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero will introduce a new street level restaurant.
