Four Seasons Resort Plans New F&B
All FF&E to be sourced locally
The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita is getting a new restaurant this December. Dos Catrinas derives its name from La Catrina, Mexico’s dame of death, popularized by folk artist Jose Guadalupe Posada. Colombian architect Saul Sasson drew inspiration from this concept and how Mexico blends its past with the future for his design.
The two-story, 5,383 sq. ft. F&B outlet, which will replace the 5-star resort’s current restaurant, will balance Mexico’s traditional culture with today’s urban lifestyle. All construction materials, furniture and fixtures will be sourced from Riviera Nayarit, where the resort is located. Design elements include copper lamps, black clay accents, huanacaxtle wood features and textiles woven by locals. The main restaurant and bar are located on the ground floor, and the second floor features a lounge area. The spaces can accommodate 278 guests.
