Chad Sorensen, CHMWarnick’s managing director and executive vice president, is this year’s recipient of the Chuck Pinkowski Member Service Award from the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC). Established in 2000 in recognition of founding member and longtime ISHC executive director Chuck Pinkowski, the annual award honors a current member for his or her contributions of volunteer time to the society.

Sorensen is ISHC chair emeritus and current co-chair of its membership and CapEx committees. He served on the ISHC board of directors from 2013-2016 and has led various ISHC initiative since becoming a member in 2008.
“It was an amazing experience to be recognized by the top hospitality consultants from around the globe,” says Sorensen, who received the award at the organization’s recent annual conference in Bangkok. “The ISHC represents the best of the best in the industry, and to be affiliated with the society is truly an honor.”
Adds ISHC executive director Andrea Belfanti: “Chad has already made a lasting contribution to ISHC and continues to contribute his time and talents towards the betterment of the society. He is a driving force in the international growth of ISHC and the CapEx Study. We could not be more pleased to honor Chad with this award and thank him for his leadership and dedication to ISHC.”
Ron Lustig, a previous Pinkowski honoree, presented the award to Sorensen, whose son, Jack, was also in attendance at the ceremony.
