McKibbon Hospitality has announced a series of key personnel moves. Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, the company has 87 hotels under management in 31 cities, representing 20 brands.
Inger Oliver, who has been with McKibbon for nearly 16 years, has been promoted to vice president of revenue management. Promoted from director, she oversees the company’s in-house revenue management team, which strategizes competitive rates and maximizes profits for more than 80 hotels in the McKibbon portfolio. Prior to joining McKibbon, Oliver spent 17 years as director of revenue management at Marriott International.
Lauren Bowles is now vice president of communications, promoted from director of communications. She manages all aspects of McKibbon’s branding, marketing and public relations efforts. She previously worked with Visit Tampa Bay, Hillsborough County’s convention & visitors bureau, where she served as marketing sales & solutions manager and partnership sales manager.
Ben Hom has been hired as vice president of human resources. He has worked in HR, recruiting and management for such companies as GE Healthcare, Motorola and the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
Scott McDowell was hired as regional vice president of operations. McDowell spent nearly eight years with McKibbon in the early 2000s and rejoined the company last month as regional VP of operations, overseeing a portfolio of hotels for the company. He also worked with JHM Hotels at both the single-property and regional levels. His most recent post was as corporate director of sales and marketing for Auro Hotels.
