HBA Selects Two New Partners

Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) announced two new bi-continental partners—Cristian Rubio Pinedo (HBA Miami) and Robbyn Carter (HBA Singapore)—as well as a new division focusing on branding and international projects.

Pinedo, who launched the Miami office to serve the Caribbean and Latin American markets in 2015, has worked on internationally awarded designs such as the Four Seasons Hotel in Kyoto and the current renovation of The Ritz-Carlton South Beach.

Carter, originally from California where she received her formal training in interior architecture, is known for such projects as Le Meridien Shanghai Minhang and Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi.

Launched at the end of 2018, HBA dna is the latest division of the global firm with offices in Singapore and Los Angeles. Mark Eacott leads the division with the aim to create and inspire a new-age hospitality based around understanding the next generation of independent traveler. HBA dna specializes in creating new brands and bringing them to life from individual properties to full-scale hotel groups.

Services of the new division include creating new brands and refreshing existing ones to keep them relevant with market trends and insights, guest profiles, brand experiences and customer journey, unique market positioning, brand narrative and voice, design and planning strategies, look books, finishes and furniture guidelines—along with conceptualizing brand concepts spatially with ID visuals before going live with a comprehensive public relations campaign.
