Some of her noteworthy projects include the Hotels Montalembert and Lancaster in Paris; The Royal Riviera in Cap Ferrat; Le Guanahani and Le Toiny in St. Barths; and The Cotton House in Mustique.
Most recently, Leo oversaw the development of hospitality elements within London’s Ten Trinity Square, a $430 million hotel/residential project that opened in January. In addition, she has served as an executive committee member for Leading Hotels of the World for nine years.
Ledunfly Hospitality is part Swiss businesswoman and philanthropist Dona Bertarelli’s family office, which also encompasses her real estate and personal business investments. The hotel unit’s portfolio includes the five-star Park Gstaad hotel and the Geneva Country Club in Switzerland, as well as the Five Seas Hotel, a five-star boutique in Cannes, France. The brand also has a luxury resort currently under development in the Exumas area of the Bahamas, which is slated for completion in 2020.
“I am delighted that Grace Leo will be leading Ledunfly Hospitality,” says Bertarelli. “She is a proven hotelier with exceptional development experience. We share the same vision for the future of the luxury hospitality market and the role we can play in it. I look forward to Grace growing the division in the years to come.”
A graduate of Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration, Leo has won several international awards. She also served on the Boutique Design (BD)/NEWH Power Players: Woman Leaders in Hospitality Panel at BDNY 2013 and was featured in BD magazine in 2011.
“I am proud to be heading Ledunfly Hospitality for Dona Bertarelli, and I was immediately attracted to her vision, passion and commitment for the business,” says Leo. “I look forward to working with her to develop the portfolio in Europe and North America.”
