London-based GLH Hotels Management (UK) Ltd announced that Neil Gallagher (shown) has resigned as chief executive officer of GLH Hotels. His last day will be August 5.
Gallagher was with the company for five years, serving as the chief financial officer, before being promoted to ceo in 2016. During his tenure, he oversaw the development and opening of the Hard Rock Hotel London, as well as the opening of premium hotel restaurants The Soak at The Grosvenor Hotel and Vicinity at The Tower Hotel.
Alan Morgan, who has a breadth of experience in the hospitality and leisure sector, will replace Gallagher. He has held senior roles with Whitbread, Punch Taverns, Spirit Pub Company and most recently was retail managing director at Rank Group, part of the Hong Leong family.
