As the firm approaches its 30th anniversary, BAMO has promoted Elaine Hwa Smith and Lindsay Noelting to associates.
Elaine Hwa Smith has been with the firm for 20 years. Her projects have included Four Seasons hotels in Bora Bora and São Paulo, and a set of new venture capital office spaces in San Francisco’s iconic Ferry Building. In her new role, Smith welcomes the opportunity to continue exploring leadership in design, as well as management and mentorship within the firm. She has helped spearhead BAMO’s committee on Diversity, Belonging, Inclusion, and Equity.
Lindsay Noelting joined BAMO in 2013, and promptly began work on the Four Seasons Madrid. Since then, her projects have included private residences in the Bay Area and Hawaii, Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, and the Halekulani Hotel in Waikiki.
