The 2018 Gold Key Award for Excellence in Hospitality Design competition is now accepting entries. Sponsored by Boutique Design magazine, the premier interior design competition for the hospitality industry has a total of 21 categories, giving designers around the world the opportunity to showcase their influential and innovative design work in every sector.
To be eligible for the hospitality industry’s most prestigious design honor, new construction, conversion or renovation work must have been or must be completed from May 1, 2017 to July 6, 2018.
The deadline for the competition is July 6 and entries can be submitted via the Boutique Design New York (BDNY) website. Entry requirements include completion of an online form and a fee of $195 for each submission. A renowned judging panel will select the Designer of the Year as well as winners and finalists in each of the following categories:

Best Lobby Midscale
Best Lobby Upscale

Best Guestroom Budget/Focused Service

The awards ceremony will take place Nov. 12 at New York’s Gotham Hall in conjunction with BDNY and HX: The Hotel Experience. The winners and finalists in each category and the Designer of the Year will be recognized at this special gala event. The honored projects and designers will also be profiled in the December 2018 edition of Boutique Design.
