Interior and product designer Paola Navone and the architects of Genius Loci Architettura will lead design at the 173-room 25hours Hotel Piazza San Paolino in Florence, Italy. The hotel, set to open in 2020, will be the first from the brand in the country.
Design is inspired by the wanderings of the exiled Dante Alighieri, with The Divine Comedy as the basis for its narrative. The property’s three existing buildings will be renovated and integrated into a single complex.
The 25hours Hotel Piazza San Paolino follows the brand’s recent Paris opening, 25hours Hotel Terminus Nord, in January 2019. 25hours Hotels continues to expand in a strategic partnership with Accor, with future openings in Dubai and Copenhagen slated for 2020 and 2021, respectively.
