Retreats Debut At Marriott Resort
Thun designs updated accommodations at JW Marriott property in Venice
JW Marriott Venice Resort and Spa is starting its 2018 season with the launch of the newly renamed and redesigned JW Retreats. The luxury retreats are located on the private Isola delle Rose and were designed by Matteo Thun, the Milan-based architect and designer who also completed the original restoration of the three-year-old, 266-key resort.

Surrounded by gardens and century-old olive groves, the JW Retreats consist of four different accommodation styles: L'Uliveto, La Maisonette, La Residenza and Villa Rose. Other hotel amenities include the Michelin-starred Dopolavoro Dining Room restaurant; four bars offering international and local cuisine; and the GOCO Spa Venice, which was profiled in the March 2015 edition of Boutique Design.
