Get a look at LA’s new InterContinental hotel
As a prelude to this year’s BDwest trade fair, designers can get a sneak peek at the inside of Los Angeles’ most-talked about new hotel: the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown at Wilshire Center. The BDwest Design Tour will be a hard-hat walk-through of this soon-to-open luxury hotel, which is housed within the upper half of a 73-story skyscraper.

The tour will take place Tuesday, April 4. It will start with at 11:30 am, with a luncheon/project presentation at the nearby California Club. Tour participants will then be taken inside the Wilshire Center tower for a tour of the hotel’s interiors led by Christopher King, design principal, AC Martin; Amy Jakubowski, managing director/design director, Los Angeles, Wilson Associates; and Bill Langmade, president, Purchasing Management Intl. LP. The tour is being sponsored by Vaughan Benz, a provider of hospitality furniture solutions.
