2015 Gold Key Winners Revealed

Projects to be profiled in BD’s December edition


Winners of the 35th annual Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design were unveiled at a gala on Nov. 9 at the Waldorf Astoria New York. The event was held in conjunction with Boutique Design New York (BDNY) and HX: The Hotel Experience (formerly the International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show). The Designer of the Year, Fox Browne Creative of Johannesburg, South Africa, was also honored at the awards banquet. Winners and finalists will be profiled in Boutique Design magazine’s December edition.

The 2015 Gold Key Awards for Excellence in Hospitality Design winners are:

Sponsored by Boutique Design, the awards recognize the most influential and innovative design work in the hospitality industry. Winners and finalists were determined by a renowned panel of judges from the hospitality design, operations, development and investment sectors.

NEWH Inc. also presented its 11th annual ICON of Industry award to Fabric Innovations’ Deborah Herman during the awards gala. Katelyn Koch, an interior design major at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s (SCAD) Atlanta campus and recipient of the $7,500 NEWH ICON of Industry scholarship, was also honored during the event.
